Redgate selected for 2009 SD Times 100

Small company joins likes of IBM, Microsoft and Oracle in Database category

CAMBRIDGE, UK, July 6, 2009 - Red Gate Software has been selected for the 2009 SD Times 100, the annual award from BZ Media's SD Times that recognizes software companies for their innovation and leadership.

Red Gate is one of only eight companies -- including such major corporations as IBM, Microsoft and Oracle -- selected in the Database & Data Tools category.  The selection was made by editors of SD Times magazine, the world's leading publication for software development managers.

"We identified Redgate as one of the companies whose reputation and products have created a buzz within the industry," says Alan Zeichick, editor of SD Times. "The attention and conversation that Redgate has generated is a clear sign of its leadership role in database and data tools."

"It's an honor to be selected for this award because it means that we are making our customers happy," says Simon Galbraith, joint CEO of Redgate.  "This is one award that doesn't happen without people saying good things about you. Our thanks to SD Times for the award, but most of all thanks to the great Redgate team and our loyal customers."
