Exchange Server Archiver 1.1 released installation improvements and improved manageability of networks with multiple domains and multiple Exchange servers.  
.NET Reflector Pro 6 Early Access Build released - .NET Reflector 6 comes with a Visual Studio Add-in that lets you use Visual Studio's step-through-debugging on assemblies that you don't have the source code for.  
SQL Object Level Recovery Native is released, introducing object level recovery for native SQL Server backups.

SQL Backup 6.2 is released, introducing object level recovery for SQL Backup (.sqb) backups  
SQL Prompt 4.0 is released bringing significantly improved performance and precision. This new version also features a redesigned look and feel to make SQL Prompt easier and more pleasant to use.  
SQL Data Compare 8.0 is released. New features include creating, comparing, and synchronizing scripts folders, making it easier to keep databases under source control.
SQL Compare 8.1 is released. This new version shares projects with SQL Data Compare 8 and means that you can now compare and synchronize both your schemas and your data, moving seamlessly from one tool to the other.  
SQL Backup 6.0 is released with new features and enhancements for robust, resilient backups, including: new network resilience for backups and log shipping, a fourth high-performance compression level, enhanced performance to the timeline, and the ability to check for orphaned users and kill existing connections during the restore process.
SQL Developer Bundle is released, providing 10 essential tools for developers.

ANTS Performance Profiler 5 & ANTS Memory Profiler 5 released.
Exchange Server Archiver released, a new email archiving tool for Exchange. Outlook Add-ins provide a transparent end-user experience with message preview, instant message retrieval and an integrated search of both archived and non-archived messages. Exchange Server Archiver reduces the size of the Exchange information store by archiving emails and attachments to a dedicated server.
SQL Response 1.3 released (bug fixes)  
SQL Comparison SDK 8.0 is released, making it easier to get started with the SDK.  
SQL Compare 8.0 is released, adding fine-grained object filtering and an improved user experience.

SQL Doc 2.0 is released, bringing a much improved user experience and the ability to export documentation as Microsoft Word documents.
Exchange Server Archiver beta released, a new tool that reduces the size of the Exchange information store by archiving e-mails and attachments to a dedicated server. Outlook Add-ins provide a seamless end-user experience with instant message retrieval and an integrated search of both archived and non-archived messages.
 
SQL Response 1.0 is released, providing SQL Server database professionals with no-nonsense monitoring of their SQL Servers' activity and health.
 
SQL Packager 6.0 is released. The new version enables packaging of pre-existing SQL scripts and therefore customization of the package prior to deployment.
 
ANTS Profiler 4 is released. A ground-up rewrite, it is 5-30 times faster than its predecessor, has an interactive timeline allowing analysis of performance data for any time period, a call tree that presents method-level performance data in context, enhanced line level timing and source code support, and an awe-inspiring new call graph for detailed method analysis.
SQL Backup 5 named 2008 Editor's Best Award winner by SQL Server Magazine.
Red Gate acquires .NET Reflector and will maintain a free version for the community.
A new version of the SQL Toolbelt is released that offers complete support for SQL Server 2008 across the entire product range. Included in the Toolbelt is a new version of SQL Compare that adds the ability to perform schema comparisons directly against backup files.
 
Sponsored by Red Gate Software, the new Exceptional DBA of the Year Awards are launched to celebrate the outstanding achievements that SQL Server DBAs bring to the community and to the organizations they work for.
SQL Prompt 3.8 released. The new Pro Edition includes code layout making working with unfamiliar scripts easy.
SQL Compare 7 beta was launched. This public release will give our customers an early chance to see how SQL Compare works with SQL Server 2008. Compare to backups is up and running  
SQL Data Generator 1.0 is released, making it easy to fill any database with sensible sample data.
Red Gate Software is placed in the Sunday Times Top 100 Best Small Companies to Work For. For two years in a row we're the best small company in Cambridge. We've also received three stars from Best Companies meaning that we're an "extraordinary" company to work for.
Beta of SQL Response launched. This major new product is designed to make monitoring a number of SQL Servers straightforward. The product offers monitoring, alerting and incident analysis for SQL Server DBAs.  
2007
Exception Hunter is released, allowing developers to easily find unhandled exceptions thrown by a function.

Beta of SQL Data Generator launched. A tool to generate test data for SQL Server databases.  
SQL Multi Script 1.0 is released, enabling SQL Server database professionals to execute multiple scripts against multiple SQL Servers with a single click.
The SQL Toolbelt is now priced at $1595. A support and upgrades package is typically 25% extra and includes all new tools released over the duration of the contract.  
SQL Data Compare 6 is released with revolutionary new UI features and the ability to compare to backups (Pro edition).
Red Gate Software launches an updated version of SQLServerCentral.com. Membership for the site is rapidly approaching the 500,000 mark.  
Release of SQL Compare 6, enabling users to compare and synchronize to and from object-level SQL scripts.
SQL Backup 5 is released with a major new GUI.
PInvoke.net, a wiki that provides native method (PInvoke) signatures, has joined Simple Talk Publishing.
 
Red Gate Software wins a Jolt award for SQL Refactor, a software tool that provides database refactoring for the first time in SQL Server.
Red Gate triumphs in Best Companies award.
ANTS Profiler 3 is released, providing integration with Visual Studio and support for 64-bit applications.
SQL Prompt 3 is released, providing intelligent code completion for SQL Server editors.
2006

 

SQL Professional Toolbelt becomes available, giving DBAs and developers access to all our products on a subscription basis.
The first version of SQL Doc is released, transforming the time-consuming task of database documentation into a simple point-and-click procedure.
DTS Package Compare removed from SQL Bundle.  
A low-cost version of SQL Backup, SQL Backup Lite, is released.
Database refactoring is available for the first time in SQL Server through the release of SQL Refactor.
Red Gate Software achieves 16th-place ranking in the Sunday Times Microsoft Tech Track 100.
Red Gate Software launches the new and improved Simple Talk website, which already sees subscription levels reaching the 74,000 mark.  
A completely new tool, SQL Dependency Tracker, is released to graphically track SQL Server object dependencies.
Red Gate acquires Attadore's SQL Prompt, and releases SQL Prompt 2.0, free of charge.
SQL Bundle 5 is released, including Pro versions of SQL Compare, SQL Data Compare, and SQL Packager.
Command-line interface removed from SQL Toolkit and added to individual Pro versions.  
Red Gate Software wins the "Business of the Year Award" run by the Cambridge Evening News.
Red Gate Software releases SQL Backup Pro Edition, providing high-performance backup and recovery for enterprise-level SQL Server implementations.
DTS Compare is replaced with DTS Package Compare, to quickly identify differences in DTS packages.

Speed of performance profiling is doubled in ANTS Profiler 2.5 and it also supports Visual Studio 2005 and .NET 2.0.


Red Gate Software announces that its complete line of SQL products will fully support Microsoft SQL Server 2005.
SQL Packager wins best SQL Server migration tool in the annual SQL Server Magazine Readers' Choice Awards.
SQL Bundle Developer Edition wins a Best of Tech Ed award in the Database Development category.
SQL Log Rescue, a tool for viewing and recovering SQL Server data, is released.
Brad McGehee, SQL Server MVP and author on SQL-Server-Performance.Com, interviews Red Gate's Marketing Director about his thoughts and views on major trends in the SQL Server market.
Steve Jones at SQL Server Central interviews Red Gate's Simon Galbraith about his current views on the industry.
Red Gate launches a new website, Simple Talk, as an industry service. The site offers in-depth technical articles and opinion pieces on SQL Server and .NET technologies.

Red Gate obtains exclusive distribution rights to the Best of SQLServerCentral.Com, Vol.1 eBook, and is offering free downloads from their website.
SQL Compare fully supports encrypted stored procedures, views, and functions.  
Memory profiling and the ability to take snapshots of an application are included in ANTS Profiler 2.0.
A tool for packaging database schemas and data, SQL Packager, is released, allowing for easier database installation.
The SQL scripts produced by SQL Data Compare are improved.  
Red Gate decides to remove Aardvark from its website, and concentrate development efforts on its tools for SQL Server and .NET.  
COMpare removed from SQL Bundle.  
SQL Compare scripts databases in the correct order even when the sysdepends table is broken, and you can now select individual records for migration in SQL Data Compare.  
SQL Data Compare now has the ability to select rows to migrate on a row-by-row basis.

SQL Toolkit is released, making it easier to create automated programs to compare and synchronize databases.
SQL Compare has been completely rewritten, and is now as much as 100 times faster than its predecessor.

SQL Compare 2.01 features increased speed, and better support for data-type changes, dependencies, and SQL 2000 features such as views, triggers, and indexes.
SQL Compare is voted as 'the tool that saves the most time' by the members of SQL Server Central.  
Red Gate publishes the results of a study on website frustration on some well-known websites.
Version 1.5 of ANTS Load is released.  
ANTS Load 1.0 is launched, just days after Microsoft releases Visual Studio .NET to manufacturing.

Red Gate realizes the potential of .NET, and releases the first beta of ANTS Load, Red Gate's load testing tool based on .NET and VSA technologies.

Synchronization capability is added to SQL Compare.
