|
|
I'm testing SQL Server 2008 R2 and after I installed SQL Refactor 1.3 I got this error message:
-----------------------
The Add-in 'SQL Refactor 1.3' failed to load or caused an exception.
Would you like to remove this Add-in?
If you choose yes, you will need to reinstall the Add-in to use it again.
Error Message: <Unknown Error>
Error number: 80131513
-----------------------
I know I cannot expect you already support this beta of SQL Server - but I think you might be interested in this issue.
Can I provide other information about it?
Do you know if there is some workaround to make it working?
Thank you.

Hello All,
This error is caused when an attempt was made to dynamically invoke a method that does not exist.
Have you all tired repairing the installer?
If not kindly follow below mentioned steps:
1. Navigate to Control Panel --> Add/Remove Programs.
2. Select SQL Refactor.
3. Click on 'Click here for support information' link.
4. It will open up a window and click 'Repair' button.
Note: Close all instances of Management studio before following the above suggestion.
Also it is worth checking if you have any antivirus installed on your machine? Can you try disabling the same and checking if the error still persists?
Kindly let us know if any of the suggestion fixes the issue. _________________ Anuradha Deshpande

| Is there any news about this? I have just started testing with SQL 2008 R2 (CTP) and I have found out how much I use the software. |
