Warning 300: Backup failed, VDI Error 1010

I have a job that backs a series of databases.

Suddenly I am getting the same error in all of them:

Warning 300: Backup failed.
VDI Error 1010: Failed to get configuration from server.
Error code (-2139684861)

Please what may I do to fix this problem?

Could you please post the contents of the SQL Backup log file for the backup that failed? The default folder where the logs are stored is C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Red Gate\SQL Backup\Log\<instance name> on Windows 2003 and older, and C:\ProgramData\Red Gate\SQL Backup\Log\<instance name> on Windows Vista and newer.
