I need to retrieve a small icon from a list of windows (window text, handle) I'm populating in a listview/imagelist.
I'm not quite sure how to do this and any help would be appreciated. As I understand it I would likely need to use the functions GetClassLongPtr to populate a WindowClassEx?
Or else I've also read that I could use the WM_GETICON notification in conjuction with the WindowProc() function?
Forgive me but my knowledge of using the Win32API with VB.Net is relatively limited. I've been able to cobble together enough to populate the listview with the windowtext and window handle, but this last part is a bit beyond me.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |
