Install/Uninstall Failure

We're trying to move our Gold Aardvark in a Box over to a new machine
(Windows 2000 Advanced Server with all patches applied). The initial
install failed (not sure why, I wasn't there). Now when we try to remove
the program through the Control Panel we get a "Internet Explorer 4.01 or
higher required" error. The same thing happens when we try to re-install.
The server has Internet Explorer 6.0 installed with all the patches. Can
anyone shed some light on this?
