Hi! I've started using SQL Doc recently and have a question (didn't find it already answered on the forums) - does SQL Doc use sysdepends to determine the "Uses" & "Used By" links in the generated html?
The reason I'm asking is because there are cases where the sysdepends info is not accurate (example: if the calling stored proc was compiled before the called stored pro)
Thanks |

Hi,
SQL Doc builds on the technologies behind SQL Compare and SQL Dependency Tracker to determine the dependencies. I'm pretty sure I'm correct in saying that this does not use sysdepends, for exactly the reasons you mention.
Hope that helps,
