| Is it possible to open a log file backup (.bak) on a client machine without restoring a db and the log files? Basically, i just want to see the transactions and am not worried about restoring them at this point. |

Hello,
Unfortunately Log Rescue really wants to analyze the full history back to the full backup so that it can reconstruct dropped tables' data. Since Log Rescue isn't really designed to do auditing, it can't analyze only a transaction log backup and show the transactions inside as the design goal is to recover data from unauthorized transactions.
