I have a problem. I have a full BAK from May 17 (which is known to be intact), and daily TRN backups from the 20th on. The TRN from the 18th is missing, and cannot be found anywhere. One or more of the existing TRNs *may* be corrupt, however I don't know because I can't restore them of course.
Can Log Explorer help me get any data out of the TRN files that I have, or am I barking up the wrong tree entirely? |

It might be able to help you - it depends on what data is in the missing transaction log backup. The best bet is to try it out and see what happens. _________________ - Neil Davidson
