Hi
I am trying to find a product that will enable us to examine a database to track down a software problem. I am running out of time on my eval copy and I am convinced that this product will deliver, if only I could get it working!
I been given a database backup and assosicated log and have tried to open sing SQL Log Rescue and get the following error:
Application has generated an expection that could not be handled.
Is this application going to assist? The database has a full backup done each night and I have tried restoring numerous backups to another server and putting the datbase online and the applying various combinations of trn files, but not manged to get to see any transactions. I must be doing something wrong.
Can anyone help? |

Is there any more information about the error other than this? There should be at least the type of exception listed, sor example a System.Exception or a SqlException. Perhaps there is something in the computer's event logs?
