I've just installed DTS Package Compare 2. When I try to perform comparison, Loading Packages information fails and I am getting following error: Unable to load package information from local storage or meta-data services on SQL Server instance 'SERVER1\INSTANCE1'. Refer to messages for more details. Ensure you have access to the server.
SQL Compare and SQL Data Compare works fine from same machine. Please advise.

Hello Maxim,
Hopefully there is some more information, either in the error text or in the application event log.
A common cause of this problem would be if your login didn't have access to the MSDB database.
