Hi Tomasz,

Thanks for your question. Yes, the Unmanaged value in the snapshot and the breakdown by module should be the same.

There was a rare bug in the original build of ANTS Memory Profiler 8 (8.0.0.498) which exhibits this behavior, and we think this is the problem you are having.

I've just released a new build of ANTS Memory Profiler 8 (8.0.0.500), which should correct this bug. Can you try the new build and let me know if you still see the same problem, please?

You should be prompted to download the update when you next start ANTS Memory Profiler 8.

Thanks,

Dom.

We'd very much like to track this down.

Please can you run VMMap (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-gb/sysinternals/dd535533.aspx) on the application and send it to us (clive DOT tong AT red HYPHEN gate DOT com). If you could include a screenshot of the data that ANTS is showing at the same time, that would be very useful.

Thanks.

After some investigation, the unaccounted size was mainly the size of the unmanaged stacks (which don't appear in the module breakdown).

I've added an internal bug tracking report to get information about the stacks displayed in the UI.
