I don't have much experience with Red-Gate - so here is my question. I also couldn't find a spot to ask a generic question like this.

In regards to database projects what can Red-Gate do that Visual Studio cannot do or what can it do better?

Have to make a decision on a choosing a tool. Red-Gate SQL Server Tool Belt or Visual Studio 2012.

Hi Rogue,

You might want to check out this document: https://www.dropbox.com/s/n0t6xctln3agy8a/Agile%20vs%20SSDT.pdf

There's a two week free trial of SQL Connect available here: https://www.red-gate.com/dynamic/products/sql-development/sql-connect/download

Thanks,
Evan
