Hi

We are monitoring 6 SQL servers but one that we have hosted for us remotely keeps getting the following errors:-

Monitoring error (SQL Server data collection)
Monitoring stopped (host machine credentials)

The servers hosted locally are all fine. Is this some kind of timeout setting that can be extended?

We are running version 3.2.

Hi Paul,

Monitoring error happens when collection fails for some reason or another. But it will not stop monitoring the machine (and SQL Server).

But on the other hand if you get Monitoring stopped then SQL Monitor stops monitoring the machine (and SQL Server). The reason for this behaviour is explained in this forum request.

I am sending you email with more details.
