I am running SQL Backup 6.5.1.9 on a Windows 2K3 Cluster against a SQL 2005 Database engine. What i am noticing is that the SQBCoreService.exe in task manager is always running at 25% cpu even when nothing else is running. The server has 4 cores and the services seems to be hitting 1 CPU at 100% all the time. I have tried bouncing the service and rebooting the server however once it comes up it goes back to 25% cpu again.
Any suggestions? |

Perhaps a SQL Backup GUI is populating its history tables. You could check the SQL Server activity details for any connection that's running the 'sqbdata' extended stored procedure. _________________ Peter Yeoh
