|
|
Hi
I'm having issues with SQL Monitor at the moment where the DB is growing out of control (around 90GB at the moment) and it is killing the web server that the web interface is running off. Any ideas for how to speed this up? E.g. deleting old alerts from the DB or anything else you might think of.
Thanks
Phil |

Hi Phil,
You should be able to purge SQL Monitor database data by changing the length of time it keeps the data. The information to do this is available at the following location. Please attempt to change the settings and let us know your findings on this issue.

Hi,
You can also reduce the collection rate, so SQL Monitor polls (and thus stores) less frequently.
This is done by editing an XML file, details for which are available upon request.
