I am trying to evaluate the product and for some reason after I select my database , when I am trying to select the log file to use, my system restarts. DO you know what could be causing this,

Hello,
The next thing that Log Rescue asks for after choosing a database is which database backups you want to include as part of the log analysis. What can happen is that Log Rescue will throw an out of memory exception if the backup history retained on your server for the particular database is larger than your available memory. We do have a fix for that particular problem if you wouldn't mind requesting it from support@red-gate.com. If it is some other problem, please let us know any more information about the error that you may find in the application logs.
