Loss of goodwill and reputation

From the License agreement. They are not liable for these things but the community will decide otherwise. I think this may be the biggest blunder of all time.


8.2 Subject to clause 8.1, the Licensor shall not be liable under or in relation to this License (whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise) for any:

(a) loss of profits;

(b) loss of sales;

(c) loss of revenue;

(d) loss of goodwill or reputation;

(e) loss of software or data;

(f) loss of use of hardware, software or data;

(g) wasted management or other staff time;

(h) indirect, special or consequential loss;

even if the licensor has been advised in advance of the possibility of such loss or damage.
