Hello there,
I'd definitely recommend giving SQL Log Rescue a try anyway, even if you do not have a full backup.
If your live database log goes back to the time that the tables were created, you may be able to get them back. The reason that SQL Log Rescue requires a full backup normally is to get the schema information for the database, but if, as you say, you don't believe that the log had ever been cleared, then there's a good possibility that you can get the tables back.
I would avoid backing this database up at this point in time, but once you think you've got all of the data back from log rescue I'd do a full backup at that point and definitely look into a regular backup strategy for the database. _________________ Brian Donahue
