I have a strange problem when I start Virtual Restore (latest version), before the Virtual Restore Wizard starts, it runs the Windows installer.

If I start the Wizard again in the same session the installer is not run, but if I reboot the machine the next time I run the wizard the installer is run again.

Once the installer has finished, the wizard is run and I don't have any other problems. The program works as expected.

I am running on Windows 7 Enterprise x64 in Spanish.

Any ideas?

It is most likely the SSMS add in component, try backing up any virtually restored databases, then re-installing, selecting 'Run As Administrator' (if Vista, Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008)
