I prefix all my managed stored procedures with msp (i.e. mspManagedSP). When I type EXEC m the suggestion list does not list any of the managed stored procedures. Am I doing something wrong or is this by design?
Thanks for your help! |

I asked this in January 2010 and received the following reply:
Unfortunately SQL Prompt v4 does not yet support CLR types (including xml) and so it fails to prompt suggestions.
I have logged this as a feature request in our internal tracking system whose id is SP-2866.
It seems that this feature did not make it in the new release yet |

Hi,
It also doesn't list CLR functions in the suggestions.
I have an aggregate function using CLR which concatente strings delimited with commas and I use it quite frequently.
Do you plan to add it?

Hi,
Unfortunately, we were unable to do any work on the parser in this release so support for CLR types (and XML) will not be in SQL Prompt 5.
