I monitor a cracking forum quite frequently to see their approaches to cracking various protection schemes. It's very informative with some very smart individuals. A good place to seek feedback about the strength of various approaches.

In fact, one of their senior members recommended smartassembly a while back when asked which obfuscator posed the biggest challenge to them. Obviously all protections are crackable in the end.
Anyway, I'm sure the guys there would relish a challenge if you were looking for extra-special feedback during the beta

Hi Gareth,
It looks like those guys like to work on SmartAssembly without us asking them to! I look forward to seeing if they can do anything with recent versions.
For the record, I can't find a useful de-obfuscation tool that has worked on smartassembly since v4.0.

Hi Alex. That's why I use smartassembly! Anyway, a good place to monitor and determine when your algorithms need updating...and what works and what doesn't. Keep up the fantastic work - I can't wait for the new release.
Cheers,
Gareth. _________________ Gareth Hayter |
