|
|
I have been having problems with my Restore Job on the Destination Server. The Log Shipping runs from 6AM to 7PM. It breaks at 6AM when it is time for it to re-start again. I do run a full Back Up on the Source Server around 3AM, is that effecting the Log Shipping when it goes to re-start again?
Any help is Appreciated.
Thanks! |

Hello,
A full backup should not normally interfere with a log shipping chain as long as it doesn't truncate the log, which it doesn't do by default.
It may be a maintenance task such as reindexing that is to blame. They can sometimes change the recovery model and in effect, change the LSNs so the log shipping chain breaks. _________________ Brian Donahue
