Hi all,

I am trying to restore a single table of 300 GB in size from 5 TB of bakcup file.

The process is running since 5 days and its still saying "Awaiting Processing' with no status.

Can you say what I need to do and how I know the progress of this table recovery.

Thanks for your help.

Hello,

The backup file reader in SQL OLR doesn't update you on the progress of reading the actual schema from disk, so the initial progress update can remain unchanged for some time as it is dumping SQL pages from the database backup file to disk. I'd say five days is a bit extreme, though.

I don't think we'll be able to help, but I will send you an email with a debugging application in it so at least we can see if any exceptions are being thrown during processing.
