i am testing web services...
after clicking the web reference button, it asks for the asmx file to be specified..
could anyone explain how to create a asmx file??

A microsoft webservice URL typically has an .asmx extension. You can get examples of these from websites like codeproject, but as it happens, ANTS Load ships with a tutorial web service that you can use, provided you've done the full installation. The url would be:

http://localhost/antsloadtutorialwebservice/employees.asmx
