When attempting to open an encrypted tlog backup in Log Rescue, we get an invalid password. We are using SQLBackup v4.1. We can open native SQL Server backups and unencrypted SQLBackup backups.

Hi Terry,
I think copying sqb2mtf from your SQL Backup v4 installation directory to the log rescue installation directory should fix the problem. The version of SQB2MTF included in Log Rescue 1.x covers only SQL Backup v3 files and not the v4 files. You have probably used a 256-bit key and that is not supported by 3.x. _________________ Brian Donahue
