Hi Guys,
When SQL source control starts to compare the linked database to source control can you get it to look for an updated ComparisonOptions file in source control and check it out and use it?
We're using TFS and I've set this file up for our various projects and checked it in. When unlinking / re-linking or when another developer links a database (ie: a new workspace is being set up), it has the default ComparisonOptions file and it is a lot of extra steps to get people to go look the workspace up and get the latest version of this file before using the workspace when it seems source control could easily get the latest version form source control if it has been checked in.
Additionally if the ComparisonOptions for the project are changed and checked in then all developers would get the new settings.
