I am still evaluating the Dependency tracker at the moment, so I admit I don't know the product all that well, but I do have a question...
Is it possible to use the dependency tracker to know whether a table dependency is a SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE or DELETE?
And if so is it possible to filter the dependencies on that, so for example if I wanted to see only dependencies to my selected object (a table) that update the table?
Apologies if this has already been asked. |

Thanks for your post Simon.
Unfortunately, that level of detail isn't something the tool can show you. We have an existing feature request (ref. DT-289) which relates to more detail at a column level of the dependencies; but at this point it's not been actioned. I've added a link back to here on the request so we can update the post should it be done, but it's unlikely to happen in the short term I'm afraid. |
