Hello,
Is there any way one could export SQL Monitor config (basically stuff from the Configuration tab) - would come in handy in case of reinstall.
Kind regards,

There is currently no built-in way to export configuration settings.
I've raised an enhancement request (ref: SRP-7116) for this but posting the idea on our suggestions site is probably the best way to get it noticed.

Ah OK, was looking for the uservoice thingy but seems I managed to miss it .
Anyway, one more question: would reinstalling the base monitor and web server on a different machine make any difference (data repository database would stay the same)? Is the config stored inside the database? |

Yes the configuration settings are stored in the database (using the 'settings' schema). As long as you select the existing database during the base monitor install (the 'Set up data repository' step) then you shouldn't notice any differences.
