Hello,
Monitoring performance of virtualized SQL servers is a bit more tricky so I was wondering if you guys have any plans to extend the monitoring capabilities of SQL Monitor to be "VM aware" (VMware, Hyper-V)... that is, to differentiate and link the database, virtual server, physical server, and storage layers.
Here's an example of a product from your competitors that attempts to resolve some of those concerns: http://www.ignitefree.com/vmware/.
Kind regards,
B.Dax

Thanks for your feedback - I'll pass this on to the development team and see if I can get any idea if there's something potentially in the pipeline for that. _________________ Andy Campbell Smith
