I am getting the below error while doing the perfroamnce testing using ants profiler.
Failed to obtain data from sql server instance 'SQLExpress'.please check this is not ants profiler[/img]

Good Morning,
What minor version are you using please?
7.2 was released last week, and it gives you the ability to profile a SQL Express database.
7.0 did not offer this feature.
You can upgrade from within the Profiler using 'Help > Check for Updates...', or download the latest version from: http://www.red-gate.com/products/dotnet-development/ants-performance-profiler/

After Updating the Ants profiler 7.2 even though i am unable to capture the results.

Hello,
Would you please send supporting files to our support; saved results files, log files, screenshots etc.
Support email: support@red-gate.com
Please state the general problem, or perhaps reference this thread.
You can get log files from: 'Help > Open Log Folder...'
This is easiest if you order the contents by the modified date, so you can find the log for your latest profiling session.

Please could you provide the following:
What is the type/version of the database you are accessing?
What API are you using to make calls to the database?
Are you able to send a ANTS results file to us? If so please send to support@red-gate.com
