CDC Support for SQL Backup 6.5.1.9

I have submitted a previous post concerning CDC (Change Data Capture) support in SQL Backup and was led to believe that UI support for CDC would be available in version 6.5. We are using SQL Backup 6.5.1.9 but I do not see any option for selecting the KEEP_CDC option when restoring.

If the KEEP_CDC option accessible via the UI? If not, when is it likely to be available?

Thank you for your post into the forum.

Regrettably the option to be able to configure the KEEP_CDC via the SQL Backup GUI did not make it into V6.5.1.9.

This means sadly that you will need to save the restore script in the final step of the wizard. Edit the script and manually add the keyword into your script.

I have further bad news, I do not believe your request has made it into SQL Backup V7 scheduled for release late next month April 2012.

I will update the SQL Backup Product Manager and Project Manager to obtain further on the latest situation.
