We use Gmail for our email provider and emails need to be sent using TLS. I don't see any way to set that up when I setup a backup job, hence my emails are failing.
Surely there's a way to set this up but I haven't found it. Can someone help?

SQL Backup has a very simple SMTP client and it requires either an open relay or plain-text SMTP authentication. So that would rule out GMail.
