When I try to install Sql Search, the install completes like it installed correctly, then when I start Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, I get the message, "The Add-in 'SQL Search 1.1' failed to load or caused an exception. Would you like to remove this add-in?"
I've tried repairing SQL Search, removing and then re-installing SQL Search.
Machine is Windows 7 32-bit with Service Pack 1 and all updates.
Some info from MSSMS:
Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio 9.00.5000.00
Microsoft Analysis Services Client Tools 2005.090.5000.00
Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) 6.1.7601.17514 (win7sp1_rtm.101119-1850)
Microsoft MSXML 3.0 4.0 5.0 6.0
Microsoft Internet Explorer 9.0.8112.16421
Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0.50727.5448
Operating System 5.1.2600
This is such an invaluable tool; I really miss not being able to use it. |

I already have .net Frameworks 3.5 installed, version is 3.5.30729.5420.
As I said, my machine is up to date with all the updates Microsoft flags as important, as well as all optional updates. |
