Keep getting error "The selected process was not running..."

Hi

I keep getting the annoying error "The selected process was not running when the selected snapshot was taken."

I use VS team 2008 (details below) with ANTS .NET memory profiler 7.1.

My application is using WinForms and is written in .NET 3.5.

I start the profiling from the ANTS menu, and take the first snapshot no problem. I then perform some actions in the application and even though the application continues to run, I get the above error, 3-4 times, sometimes more, before succesfully taking a snapshot.

What is going on?

I'm not aware that our application is starting other processes, but it might do so. I will check the Process: dropdown box to make sure it points at the right process.

Meanwhile, and sorry for the extremely late reply, I have found a work-around. Do avoid the "The selected process was not running..." error, immediately after pressing the snapshot button, I put my application in the foreground. Then it never fails.
