Hi,

I am evaluating ANTS memory profiler version 7.1.

Is it possible for the memory profiler to show the source code of the method that allocated the object instance (for a .Net application compiled with debug information) ?

It seems that this was possible in a previous version of the memory profiler :

Hi Joel,

Yes, that's true: Memory Profiler used to show the allocation stack for an object. But for various reasons, including the fact that the information was only minimally important plus the huge performance impact it had while profiling, that feature was taken out.
