|
|
Hi,
I just installed ANTS and am having issues. On my machine, I cannot profile any OOB Silverlight app, even a simple "hello world" style one. It does not matter if I start the ANTS profiler directly and point it to the xap, or invoke it from visual studio to profile the startup project. sllauncher.exe crashes, and the app will run fine if I start it without trying to profile. Coworkers with similar machines are not having the same problem.
The stack I get is this for Unhandled exception at 0x78f03138 in sllauncher.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation reading location 0x000001f8.:

Given that it seems to be a local configuration issue can the first step be to rerun dotnetfx.exe to re-install the framework?
It baffles me how frameworks get corrupted but they do and this has solved many issue in the past with the minimum of change.
You'll have a fully restored framework to boot! |
