New policy is $35 / user for a perpetual v7 license. A v8 license would be extra. Will there be any volume discounts?

I note that Reflector Pro does not seem to have any volume discounts.

It will depend on need and your response, but anywhere from a dozen or so to a few hundred.

Thanks so much for adding your question here on the forum. I apologise personally for the delay in our original reply. As you can imagine this has been a very busy few days for us as we've tried to digest the huge amounts of feedback and reaction to this decision. Your original question is amongst the most popular from existing Red Gate customers and other interested parties. Hannah was previously replying on the information she had at the time but I would like to take the opportunity to revise her answer a little.

It is true that we won’t be offering any volume discounts on the $35 version of Reflector so it will be $35 for a 1 user license, $350 for a 10 user license, and $3500 for a 100 user license. We envisage that a company thinking about buying a 100 user license of .NET Reflector will have very little issue paying $3500 – even if budget is a key concern. The same goes for a regular sized development team paying $350 for a 10 user license.

The revision: Based on a large volume of feedback we have now decided to revise our policy on volume pricing for the other two versions of .NET Reflector. We are now planning a 25% discount on the per user price for a 100 user license of .NET Reflector VS and VSPro. A 25% discount on 100 licenses of .NET Reflector VSPro would give a total cost of $7,125. This would cover a large group of developers with the very best version of .NET Reflector. We are also reconsidering volume discounts for smaller teams wanting to get the premium products. WTS

We still really like the simplicity of the $35 price structure for teams on a budget or only interested in the basic functionality of Reflector. This structure means we are not pressuring smaller organisations or teams into purchasing more licenses than they really need.

Thanks again for your early feedback about volume discounts and i wanted to let you know how you helped contribute to our final price structure for .NET Reflector.

As i mentioned above there will be no bulk discounts on .NET Reflector Standard but we will be offering bulk discounts on volume licenses of .NET Reflector VS and .NET Reflector VSPro.

In addition to the 25% discount for site licenses of 100 users or more we are now offering, a 15% discount for 50+ users and you’ll get a 10% discount for teams of 10 or above.
