|
| Is there a way to do an SVN post-commit hook so we can update the QA databases when a developer checks in the code? According to a couple of articles I found on this site, I would need to set up scripts using SQL Compare Pro. I was told during the evaluation, that syncing the QA databases was possible with NO additional server licenses. |

Hi there,
Thanks for your post. It is correct that you would need to use SQL Compare PRO to do this.
You could, I guess, do this manually if you all linked up the QA database to SVN and performed a manual update against the QA from SVN whenever a change was checked in, but I would personally suggest using SQL Compare PRO as that will probably be cleaner.
HTH!
