I've logged this as a bug (775).
The installer is looking for a key, VisualStudioProjectsLocation, under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\VisualStudio\9.0 which it uses to determine where it will install the addin definition file. This key isn't present after the 2008 standard edition has been installed. |

| I created this key manually but it still does not recognize VS. |

Hi.
I've tried various virtual machines here with different operating systems and have managed to install the Reflector Pro addin into a standard edition of VS in them all.
In some cases, the option was greyed out in the integration options until I had started and configured the VS (as C# bindings).
Can you give us some more information? What operating system? What registry keys were present in the 9.0 section of the registry?
Thanks. |
