I´m trying to package a file (exactly same schema script generated by own sql packager) but getting error: Incorrect syntax near the keyword 'PRINT'.
It seems that line breaks was changed...
The same script runs perfectly in management studio. _________________ Att |

Hi there and thanks for your post. Can you confirm which exact version of SQL Packager you are running? If you are not using the latest cumulative patch, can you please try that? It is available from the below link:
http://www.red-gate.com/messageboard/viewtopic.php?t=9883
Many thanks!

I solved downgrading from 6.3.1.92 to 6.3.1.7.
Also, I´ll take this opportunity to mention:
1) Tip: I tried to change to USE TRANSACTION and I received a similar error
(http://www.legalsistemas.com.br/packager.png) - line breaks was changed in package process - many tested encodings (unicode, ansi, utfs)
2) Sugestion: To create/drop/alter an object, ask if there (IF EXISTS)
3) Protest: Each update request templates reconfiguration (http://www.red-gate.com/supportcenter/Content.aspx?p=SQL%20Packager&c=knowledgebase%5CSQL_Packager%5CKB200903000376.htm) - and the line isn´t 421 in new versions. How to fix ?

Thanks for your post. Please allow me to address your issues as you have listed them:
1) In order for us to troubleshoot that further, we would really need to replicate it with your DB. Please feel free to send a backup to support(at)red-gate.com quoting reference F00040380 and we will take a look.
2) This is already listed as a feature request. The functionality is scheduled I believe for SQL Compare 9 due out later this year / early next year. Once that is available, I am sure the functionality will then make its way into Packager.
3) Can you confirm if you get the same behaviour if you use the /makeupgrade switch?
