| Let me ask the pain question: what are the plans for Mono and general unix support? Any plans for it already? Or a general no-no? |

| We have no plans for SmartAssembly to support Unix or Mono. However, if the demand increases dramatically we may consider it. |

"Ingeniously simple" answer...
Not what I wanted to hear but it was expected.

That's not totally accurate- a lot of smartassembly features do support mono. There are a handful of exceptions such as exception reporting, strings encoding and maximum control-flow obfuscation. Incidentally, these are the feature that currently rely on native windows api.
Buuut- we will never support running the GUI on anything other than windows and we will only support mono on Linux. |
