Expand Wildcard

Hi folks, I have been using Red gate products for a while but today for the first time I needed to use Expand Wildcards but it does not work for any table in the database - is there a known issue with it?

e.g. SELECT *
FROM dbo.mp_rcResourceData ;

select works etc but table is empty. It claims there are syntax errors in the script but there are none.
