When data comparing using the SDK, is the ability to export to CSV exposed similar to what is available in SQL Data Compare/Tools/Export Comparison Results?
Thanks

Is it possible to use a SQL query as a source of a data compare?
There might be a query I want run and cannot choose from a view or table.. |

Unfortunatly that's buried deep in the UI, and isn't part of the API. Would you like me to log a feature request to make it avaliable?
It's possible to export the project to CSV using the SQL Data Compare command line interface, if that helps at all.

You can configure a where clause to restrict the data being compared if that's what you're looking for. It is also possible to compare a sql script or a collection of scripts as a data source. _________________ Chris |
