I was testing the capabilities of synchronizing Table changes, specifically a Trigger. I made a change outside of SSMS to the table's script file that contained the trigger being changed and then checked it into TFS. In SSMS it saw the change and after I attempted to apply it to my local DB, it generated an error at the "Registering Selected Changes" step. I don't have the exact syntax because it did not allow me to copy it, but it was something close to this:
Errors occured whilst parsing file "C:\Red Gate\SQL Source Control 0\workingBases\dfjkdsfjklsdljksdfjlkdsf\Tables\dbo.Customer.sql
'Line 447:1 expecting "conversation", found 'GO
Not sure what is meant by "conversation". The same script parses just fine in SSMS. |

Thanks for your post.
Could you make sure you're on the latest version of SQL Source Control? (Help > Check for updates)
Can you also send the file 'C:\Red Gate\SQL Source Control 0\workingBases\dfjkdsfjklsdljksdfjlkdsf\Tables\dbo.Customer.sql' to SQLSourceControlSupport@red-gate.com? We should then be able to recreate the problem here and hopefully provide a fix. _________________ Chris |

| I verified that I am using the latest version and I emailed the file you requested. Thanks for the response. |

| Thank you for emailing the files. We are looking into this now. Our internal reference number is SOC-1020. |
