|
|
I am running the following scheduled task in Vista 32 bit.
program : "C:\Program Files\Red Gate\SQL Doc 2"
arguments : \SQLDoc.exe /project:"C:\Users\dan-w\Documents\My Database Documentation\reef.sqldoc" /filetype:html-frames
If I don't go in and update the project to include all the databases it will not document any new databases that have been created. Is there a way to do this that will document every database on the server?
Thanks

Hi Dan,
At the moment, the command-line SQL Doc supports running projects created with the UI version of SQL Doc. This doesn't give you the opportunity to dynamically add databases to the list of databases that get documented.
We can look into this for a future version of SQL Doc. _________________ Brian Donahue

| Is there a different way to pull the documentation for every database? |

SQL Doc requires that the databases and servers are added in the User Interface. I haven't got any unsupported hack or any other way to do it automatically when a new database is added. _________________ Brian Donahue
