Hello,

I have downloaded Sql geneartor and would like to run it with different credentials (other than windows /sql ) . I see advanced property in shortcut with has a checkbox(Run with different credentials) but it is greyed. I dont have an option of running with my windows account so I need that feature.

Please help how I can login with other credentials.

That option is only available on actual shortcuts and the entries we put into the start menu aren’t of the correct type. I am afraid this is a known issue in the SQL Toolbelt entry which handles this.

The workaround is to Right click > new > shortcut. Point it at RedGate.SQLDataGenerator.UI.exe and then the property should be selectable.
