We are pleased to announce the release of SQL Response 1.2. Please use the Check for Updates function from your existing installation. You can also download the latest version of SQL Response from:

http://www.red-gate.com/products/SQL_Response

Bug fixes and enhancements in SQL Response 1.2 include:

- Improved WMI support
- Reduced load on monitored SQL Servers
- Data grids in the Alert and Recommendation details can now be sorted
- Deadlock trace flag is now set only when the deadlock alert is enabled

We also recommend you upgrade your Alert Repository to benefit from this release. Note that on upgrading the SQL Response client you will receive a reminder to upgrade your Alert Repository. You can install the new version of the Alert Repository from within the upgraded client.

Please note we have removed support for the Alert Repository running on Microsoft Windows 2000. Please install the Alert Repository on Windows XP or greater.

If you have any questions or feedback about this release, please do get in touch. We would be very happy to hear from you.

Regards,
David Connell
