I would like to add a section to take advantage of the DNSAPI.dll in order to query MX records for valid SMTP email. Currently there is no section in PInvoke for this and I would like to add a signature.

Brian,

Do I need you to put in an entry to work? How about and entry for DnsQuery and DnsRecordListFree. Eventually I will put in an entry to GetMXRecords.

Also Enum Query Options and QueryTypes and struct MXRecord.

Thx

No problem -- just click dnsapi in the left margin, and you will notice a Click below to jump to a page or create a new one link at the top of the page. Enter the modulename.functionname in the box and press return. For instance dnsapi.DnsQuery will create a new page for the DnsQuery function that you want to add.
