Hi,
I have been using this tool to memory prpofile my application and have some problems understanding the results. What I did is
1. selected the website on iis option .
2. typed in the url for my website.
3. did something and took a snapshot .
I tried to browse to the objects panel and view the id of the objects that were showed as maximum live on the summary and looked at the hierarchy and the call stach also ,surprisingly none of the methods are mine. So what is causing my application to use so much memory, plase advice.
Thanks |

Hi,
you may want to try the early access build of the new memory profiler. It has more filtering and easier visualisation of why objects are still in memory.

It is still an early build so please keep that in mind.
Thanks!
